Ilsa Galbreath, was borning Nov. 19, 1931. She was born in Brazil and was raised on a farm where she met my father Alcido Eninger. At age 23 they got married and moved to Gramado, Brazil. They had 6 kids, 3 boys and 3 girls: Luiz Carlos, João, Marta, Regina, Susana, and Germano. Ilsa and her family then moved to Lawndale, California Dec, 22, 1968. Here she raised her six children.

Later in life she remarried to a wonderful man, Doug Galbreath, where they lived in Hawthorne, California. They enjoyed traveling, camping, and fishing. They both belonged to the Rod and Gun Club, the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars), and the American Legion. Here my mom made many friends. Every Sunday they would all go to breakfast club. She enjoyed that very much.

We celebrated her 85th birthday in November and she danced the night away. She passed Dec. 26th, 2016.

-Her son, Germano Nico Eninger

It's the little things. The small, everyday occurrences that I will always remember. The laughs, the stories, the smiles. My grandmother loved puzzles. My fondest moments with my grandmother were weekends i would spend the night and we would work on her puzzles. Mornings, she would work on her garden. My goodness how she loved her garden! She would always proudly show her blooming flowers and gorgeous red tomatoes . My grandmother was a beautiful happy soul that always wore her heart on her sleeve. She was so many things to so many people. We have all lost such a special person, but she left a legacy and instilled her love and values on her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. My grandmother lived a long happy life. She was always the life of the party and she made an impact on the world around her, spreading smiles, kindness, and warmth everywhere she went. Although kind,  My grandma was also a very strong woman. She was a fighter, no one could tell her no. We may no longer see her but we’ll always have these special moments we shared with her. She will always have a special part in our hearts

She will greatly be missed by all.
